Breast cancer! The chances of a woman with the disease surviving for five years following diagnosis are 88% in the US, 56% in Uganda, and significantly less in Sierra Leone.
In this short film we hear about about the limitations of breast cancer treatment in Sierra Leone; what impact this has on women and men with the disease; and why a mammogram machine is urgently needed to help the country’s breast cancer sufferers better survive Sierra Leone’s silent killer.
